Privacy policy
Gaze6m is designed to keep everyday reminders on your Mac. This policy explains separately what the app, Apple’s App Store services and the Gaze6m website handle.
1. The macOS app
The app runs its reminder timer locally. Reminder intervals, break duration, launch-at-login preference, poetry display preference and poem rotation state are stored on your Mac. The poetry collection is bundled with the app. The app does not require an account, connect to our servers for everyday reminders, or upload break history or app-usage data.
If a future version adds crash reporting, cloud sync, accounts, analytics or other network features, we will reassess and update this policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures before release.
2. Apple downloads and purchases
When you download, update or buy the app through the Mac App Store, Apple handles relevant account and transaction information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple Account password. Apple may provide purchase status to the app so it can check eligible features.
3. This website and technical logs
The website is planned for Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare and service providers involved in delivering and protecting the site may process connection and technical information—such as the requested page, request time, browser details and network address—to deliver content, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. Security features may use additional technical signals according to the configuration. We do not currently use advertising pixels or cross-site advertising profiles. This description must be updated to match the services, security features and retention settings actually enabled at launch.
The site uses static files and system fonts; it does not load Google Fonts, advertising pixels or embedded third-party video. Browser language or regional settings may be used to select a language on your first visit. If you choose a language manually, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. This preference stays on your device and is not sent to our server.
4. Contact form and email
If you use the support form, we collect the name you choose to provide, your reply email address and the message you send. The form sends this information to our support inbox, [email protected], through our email delivery provider, Resend. The provider processes the message to deliver it and may keep delivery and security logs under its own policies. The message is also retained in the support inbox until it is deleted. We use it to answer and handle your request; we do not use it for marketing subscriptions. Do not include an Apple password or other sensitive information. 5. Your choices and contact
You may stop using or uninstall the app, and you can remove its preferences from your Mac. Apple provides the relevant channels for App Store purchase, refund and subscription management. For questions about this policy or a deletion request, contact [email protected].
6. Changes
We may revise this policy as the app, website or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page.
This website privacy policy describes the current planned product and site setup. Before public launch, it must be checked against the deployed Cloudflare settings and the final App Store build and privacy disclosures.
